As a business owner you know that you must continually bring new prospects into your funnel. The funnel always needs to be full, and one of the best ways to do this is by implementingkey marketing strategies. Many people forget this when they get busy with existing clients.

For most solopreneurs their key marketing tools consist of business cards, post/rack card, website, ezine/enewsletters and blogs. If you are just in start-up mode you may not be using all of these tools yet; as you grow you will want to be reaching your target market using as many marketing strategies that will attract the right clients to you.

Whether you worked with a branding specialist or you created your own brand, you started out having an idea of who your ideal client would be. Keep your ideal client in your mind’s eye. On every single marketing piece you need to give them a clear and concise message of the ‘what's in it for me ‘(WIIFM), in other words what are the results they will get by using your services.
